Teaching dance is now an option for anyone, even those with no previous dance training. If you enjoy dancing and want an exciting career, then you are in the right place. Montage Ballroom Teachers Academy is a 16-month curriculum divided into 4 semesters, guiding trainees through the DVIDA (Dance Vision International Dance Association) American Style Bronze Syllabus. Semesters may be taken in any order. There are no prerequisites to join MBTA.
Some skills you will gain during the course includes:
- 17 dances of the DVIDA American Style Bronze Syllabus for Smooth, Rhythm, and Night Club dances
- To dance both as the Leader and Follower
- Technical elements of all the dances
- Musical elements of all the dances
- Presenting material in private and group lessons
- How to prepare for DVIDA certification
